Netherbury Walkers

A group of social walkers who go out once a month for a relaxed stroll around the West Dorset countryside. We usually set off on foot but occasionally drive to a starting point further from home.

A typical walk will be about 10km (6 miles) and take us around three hours – depending how long we stop at the pub, cafe or picnic on route… Most of us wear walking boots but trainers or wellingtons also make appearances.

The walks can be led by anyone who has a good route to share. We usually try to ensure they are are suitable for dogs but, like the humans, they must be well behaved and under control at all times.
